Parish Committee

Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council is a representative body of parishioners.  It is an advisory body to the Pastor, subject to Diocesan policies, practices and guidelines.
The Council seeks to identify the needs of the parish, to be a link between the parishioners and the pastor, and to be a means of ensuring that the parish needs are being met.  The work of the Council is based on the principle that the most effective parish community is one where the parishioners have responsibility for many areas of parish life.  Through the meetings of the Council and Council committees, parishioners can participate in many areas of decision making that support the goals of the parish.
Members who are appointed by the Pastor, serve for a two year term.
