Eucharistic Ministers serve at the Lord’s Table and are called upon to minister the Body and Blood of Christ. The ministers accomplish this by strengthening their faith from within and sharing it with the faithful at communion time whether at liturgies or by bringing the Body of Christ to the infirmed or homebound. It is a most rewarding and uplifting experience. Those who serve as Eucharistic Minister should bring a strong faith, a sense of awe, and a desire to share with others. Eucharistic Ministers must be comfortable in establishing a relationship with each communicant in what most likely is the most intimate moment in the liturgy.
Eucharistic Ministers may also assist in the distribution of ashes and blessings of throats. If you are interested in serving this ministry, please contact the parish office.
